2020 Symposium: Research and Practice from Australia's Outer Urban Growth Areas

Submissions are invited from Members and their research partners for the 2020 NGAA Symposium - Research and Practice from Australia's Outer Urban Growth Areas. Submissions could include the results of a trial program, an innovative strategy or a research project based around the needs of your fast growing municipality.

Some of the research showcased in the 2019 Symposium included the City of Wanneroo and GAPP group’s study making the case for more active playing spaces; Wyndham City Council’s City Lens project; the City of Playford’s research and pilot project on creativity and youth services; and Value Australia, a new toolkit for analysing land valuation in development scenarios from Penrith City Council and Frontier SI.

The NGAA Research and Practice Group will select the submissions that will be presented at the Symposium. The Symposium was to have been held in Liverpool on Friday, 8 May, but has been postponed until further notice because of the COVOD-19 pandemic.

Submissions are still being accepted. Make your submission here.
